Self serving positions of power

Power is to serve other not to self serve.
Any current concept has a history.
Law has its roots in social contracts, in natural rights.
Law must show the general will, must support the equality and the benefits of the society as a whole.


All citizen, being equal in the eyes of law, are equally eligible to all dignities and to all public positions and occupations according to their abilities, without distinction except that of their virtues and talents.
All persons are held innocent until they shall have been declared guilty.
